Located in the breathtaking town of Nong Khiaw in Northern Luang Prabang province of Laos, Maison de Nong Khiaw offers modern comforts with local architectural design. Being surrounded by divine nature does not necessarily mean you have to sacrifice the type of amenities you come to expect from hotels in the city. Maison de Nong Khiaw is a fancier style of accommodations than what is currently available in Nong Khiaw. This means the rooms are nicer, newer, and the service is second to none in this peaceful town. Maison de Nong Khiaw sits on 20,000 square meters of land along the Nam Ou River. Every inch of that precious space is put to good use. On top of the 10 rooms made up of 10 housing buildings, there is a large plot of land dedicated to our eco-gardens, which gives lodgers insight into local agriculture practices without the use of harmful mineral fertilizers or pesticides. Of course the same garden is the source of many of the ingredients used for the authentic Lao meals served at our restaurant.

About Nong Khiaw

Nong Khiaw (ຫນອງຂຽວ or “green pond”) is a village located in the Meung Ngoi district of Luang Prabang Province, approximately 140 km north of Luang Prabang town. The most prominent characteristic of this quaint little village are the limestone mountains that surround the village as well as the surreal green Nam Ou River. Make your way up to Pha Deng Viewpoint for an amazing birds eye view of the entire village. The town offers a fair number of outdoor activities, accommodations, and delicious local food. If you are spending more than a few days in Luang Prabang, be sure to make a trip to this picturesque town. It is truly one of the most naturally breathtaking places in all of Laos.
